What is a Paint Correction?

Paint correction is the technique of refining your vehicle’s clear coat to eliminate imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, and scuffs. This intricate, multi-step process typically includes compounding and polishing to achieve a flawless finish. Our team brings skill, focus, and expertise, using a range of specialized compounds, polishes, pads, machines, and coatings to make your vehicle look showroom-ready.

What is Compound & Polish?

Compounding involves using a mildly abrasive compound with a foam, wool, or microfiber pad to remove moderate to severe imperfections in the paint. This process targets deeper scratches and defects to restore a smooth surface. Polishing is a gentler process than compounding. It’s used to eliminate light scratches and enhance the paint’s clarity and depth. Typically, compounding removes the deeper imperfections, while polishing gives the paint a refined, high-quality finish. Do I need both? - It depends. If your car’s paint is mostly free of significant damage and only has light scratches, a one-step polish may be sufficient to achieve a great result. If you have deeper scratches, a 2-step might be best!
